Abstract
  • Libraries are centres of technical and specialist expertise, the skills their staff can contribute to the wider organisation and as partners in research have been overlooked. This talk follows on from the RLUK-AHRC event The Technician Commitment and the role of research and academic libraries as centres of technical and specialist expertise, held on 27 April 2022, to continue the rallying cry for librarians to be recognised for their skills both by their institutions, sectors, funders, partners, and themselves.
