The 24 XML files contain the TEI metadata for each plate by Naomi Billingsley. The XML files here contain the researcher-authored metadata for the plates, which includes a description of the edition of the Bible and publication information for each plate.
The individual plates described in these files were plates that were new for this edition, or adapted from plates included in the first edition.
The research was funded by a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship, ECF2016787.
These metadata files were written for a digital edition of this Bible as part of a collection of Bible Illustrations for Manchester Digital Collections, published in May 2020. The published metadata includes additional strings, including manifest for the images.
