In the summer of 2021, Seda İzmirli-Karamanlı had a placement with the Endangered Archives Programme. During her three months with EAP she enhanced the catalogue for EAP696 'Minority press in Ottoman Turkish in Bulgaria'. Seda also researched the collection and wrote the blog post 'Motherhood: A Form of Emancipation in the Turkish Minority Press in Bulgaria (1878-1944)' for the Asian and African studies blog. The metadata was originally created by the EAP696 project team that digitised the archive in 2014. The project team was led by Mr Stoyan Shivarov.
