The file consists of the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) text in XML format for one year of Weymouth Telegram. The full digitised newspapers comprises no. 1-1363 (22 March 1860-14 May 1886) (The Weymouth, Portland and Dorchester Telegram.), no.1364-4215 (22 May 1886-25 June 1901) (The Telegram). The newspaper continued beyond 1901, but this has not been digitised. The digitised page images for years 1860 - 1901 are available on the British Newspaper Archive website, https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/titles/weymouth-telegram The British Newspaper Archive pages images are behind a paywall, but from March 2021 the paywall will be lifted and some of these images will be free to view
