The full digitised newspapers comprises no. 1-1882 (10 July 1858-1 Oct. 1892) (Stockton Herald, South Durham and Cleveland Advertiser.), no. 1883-3684 (8 Oct. 1892-27 April 1918) (Stockton & Thornaby Herald and South Durham Advertiser). The newspaper continued beyond 1901, but this has not been included in this dataset due to copyright considerations.
