The file consists of the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) text in XML format for one year of Glasgow Courier. The full digitised newspaper comprises no.1696,1697,1699,1701, (1,3,8,13 July 1802) 9453-8953, 9112-9423, 9581-11194; 2 Jan.1844 � 28 Dec.1848; 3 Jan1850 � 30 Dec 1851, 1 Jan 1853- 8 Feb.1866). The digitised page images are available on the British Newspaper Archive website, https://www.britishnewspaperarchive.co.uk/titles/glasgow-courier The British Newspaper Archive pages images are behind a paywall, but from March 2021 the paywall will be lifted and some of these images will be eventually free to view. The period between 1802 and 1844 has yet to be digitised.
