Abstract
This project reviewed the curriculum of information studies postgraduate courses in a number of countries across Europe. The curriculum for Library Studies, Archival Studies, Record Management and Digital Curation/Preservation and Digital Humanities were reviewed to see if there was any reference to web archiving. As these web pages were reviewed in Spring 2023 they were mostly advertising their course modules for a September 2023 start date.

This project reviewed the curricula of information studies postgraduate courses in Britain and Ireland and undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Spain. Undergraduate courses were included for Spain as the provision of information studies is mostly through undergraduate courses rather than postgraduate level. The curriculum for Library Studies, Archival Studies, Record Management and Digital Curation/Preservation and Digital Humanities were reviewed to see if there was any reference to web archiving. As these web pages were reviewed in Spring 2023 they were advertising their courses for a September 2023 start date. It must be noted that most of the UK based courses should be regularly captured as part of the annual domain crawl since 2013 when Non-Print Legal Deposit legislation was implemented. Other countries such as Spain also have legal deposit regulations in place and might also have a wide range of capture dates for the information studies courses reviewed as part of this survey. These courses may have also been picked up by other open access web archives.
