Abstract
This study, by Dr Linda Berube, was commissioned by the British Library with the purpose of examining scholarly and professional discourse about access to web archives through a literature review focusing on researcher requirements, behaviours, and practices. While centred on the UK Web Archive, the study draws on broader experiences including the Internet Archive and other national library web archives to identify lessons learned and potential development pathways for improving scholarly access. Recommendations in support of access and future development are provided, building upon those offered in the literature. All text is available under a CC0 Licence.
