This document aims to establish the scope of a thematic website collection initiated as part of the wider work the UK Web Archive does to document political events in the UK. This collection was given the title ‘European Parliament Elections 2019’.
The European Parliament Elections 2019 were held across the European Union between 23 and 26 May 2019 to elect Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) for a five-year term. In the UK, the election took place on 23 May 2019.
