The Literary and Linguistic Data Service (LLDS) is a national repository for literary and linguistic resources. It hosts the Oxford Text Archive – one of the oldest collections of digital textual data in the world, made up over 70,000 texts, ranging from digital editions, to linguistic corpora, to text analysis tools that are predominantly free to access. The LLDS is also part of the CLARIN network, a European consortium with a focus on common language resources and technology infrastructure. Through CLARIN, items deposited with the LLDS are made visible and accessible to European scholars as well. This presentation provides a general introduction to the LLDS and the OTA and how it supports open research.
