Abstract
The aim of this special collection is twofold: 1) to capture and record the recent anti-racist political mobilisation by people of East and Southeast Asian ethnicities and backgrounds in the UK; 2) to preserve the digital traces of the history and lived experiences of these diverse and dynamic individuals and communities. The collection contributes to enriching our understanding of the experience of people of East and Southeast Asian heritage, who have been shaping Britain’s multicultural identity and constituting an important, if under-represented, facet of UK life. The collection also contributes to documenting the process of the negotiation of multiple identities and belongings of these racially minoritised groups who face persistent exclusion and racism in the UK.
