Abstract
This report outlines the findings of a PhD placement project undertaken with the Modern Archives and Manuscripts team at the British Library. The project focuses on Oscar Wilde’s autograph manuscripts and letters held within the manuscript portion of the Lady Mary Eccles Oscar Wilde Collection (Add MS 81619–81884), a major literary bequest received by the Library in 2003. As part of the project, Corrigan conducted provenance research to document the acquisition history of individual items and to uncover further details about the context of the creation of the collection.
