Abstract
Founded in 1670, the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh delivers world-leading plant science, conservation and education programmes. The Garden’s mission is to ‘Explore, Conserve and Explain the World of Plants for a Better Future’ and the new five year strategy, ’Responding to the Biodiversity Crisis and Climate Emergency’, was launched in June 2021. In her talk Lorna Mitchell, Head of Library Services at the RBGE, will provide an overview of the RBGE Collections and explore the role that Open Access to those collections and the research that they support can play in supporting the climate justice agenda.
