Abstract
The book which Henry VIII most heavily annotated is the manuscript Psalter Royal MS 2 A XVI held in the British Library. This note records and comments on one previously overlooked feature - the omission of numerous verses from Psalm 77. It also records the findings of a more detailed comparison of that manuscript against the British Library copy of the Psalter printed by Edwarde Whytchurch: London, [1542?] which was also annotated by Henry VIII.
