Abstract
This document aims to establish the scope of a thematic website collection initiated as part of the wider work the UK Web Archive undertakes to document political events in the UK. This collection was given the title ‘European Parliament Elections 2009’. This is a collection of Internet sites with content about the European Parliament Elections 2009. The European Parliament Elections of 2009 were part of the EU's regular democratic process to elect Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) across all member states, including the United Kingdom, which was a member of the EU at the time.
