Abstract
This document aims to establish the scope of a thematic website collection initiated as part of the wider work the UK Web Archive undertakes to document political events in the UK. This collection was given the title ‘UK General Election 2010’.
The 2010 UK General Election was a significant national election held on 6 May 2010, to elect Members of Parliament (MPs) to the House of Commons. It marked a major shift in UK politics. The collection period ran from April 6th to July 20th 2010.
