Abstract
An overview of the work of National Life Stories in 2023. Alongside major NLS project updates, this review includes feature articles on: the 'Life Story in Oral History Practice' International Symposium hosted by NLS in 2023; the life story recording of Akyaaba Addai-Sebo, founder of UK Black History Month; and Architects' Lives Advisory Committee member Peter Murray on his experiences researching using the collection. The review also celebrates several NLS partner projects, including 'Positively Spoken' run by Chiva, and two collections on the 1984-85 Miners' Strike, all recently archived at the British Library.
