This document aims to establish the scope of a thematic website collection initiated as part of the wider work the UK Web Archive undertakes to document political events in the UK. This collection was given the title ‘UK General Election 2005’.
The UK General Election of 2005 was a nationwide election held to determine the composition of the House of Commons, the lower house of the UK Parliament.
