Abstract
This Guide outlines the scope, contents and layout of the National Reference Library of Science and Invention and describes its various aids, services and practices. It is, however, only a brief guide and it cannot give all the details which those who intend to use the Library extensively might find useful. Trained staff are in attendance in the Library to add to the information given in the Guide and to help readers, to use the collection. The individual leaflets of the Aids to readers series describe particular aspects of the stock and practices and are available free.
