Abstract
This dataset is a PDF file containing the images and transcription the manuscript titled al-Durr al-naqÄ« fÄ« fann al-mÅ«sÄ«qÄ« الدرّ النقيّ Ù ÙŠ ٠نّ الموسيقي by Aḥmad ibn 'Abd al-RaḥmÄ n al-Mawá¹£ilÄ« Ø£Øمد بن عبد الرØمن الموصلي. The manuscript was digitised through the British Library Qatar Foundation Partnership, and made available through the Qatar Digital Library (https://www.qdl.qa/en/archive/81055/vdc_100026906787.0x000001). The manuscript was transcribed as part of the RASM 2018 competition (https://www.primaresearch.org/RASM2018/). The ground truth was created using Aletheia (https://www.primaresearch.org/tools/Aletheia), and the PDF was exported using Transkribus (https://transkribus.eu/Transkribus/). The transcription is embedded within the PDF, which makes it searchable. The manuscript's PDF (images and text) is out of copyright and in the public domain.
