Abstract

• Benito Monfort is the last of the three best-known printers in eighteenth-century Spain to be considered in this series of articles. He is generally thought to be the most gifted of a group of printers centred in Valencia and in a wider context he is regarded by some as not much inferior to Ibarra himself.
