Abstract
This British multi-coloured textile binding decorated to a floral design covers a devotional work usually intended for private prayer. The book itself is The Whole Book of Psalmes, and it was published in London in 1634. This model was created in 2023 for a British Library project funded by the The Broderers’ Charity Trust to encourage interest and educate the public and researchers alike. It was undertaken by Conservation and Printed Heritage Collections to provide surrogates for fragile bindings.
