Abstract

This 17c English New Testament and Book of Psalms have been bound together in a ‘double book’, ‘back to back’ or ‘dos a dos’ binding. The small size would conveniently fit into one’s pocket or bag as one went to church. This model was created in 2023 for a British Library project funded by the The Broderers’ Charity Trust to encourage interest and educate the public and researchers alike.
