Abstract
This document aims to establish the scope of a thematic website collection initiated as part of the CDAS Emerging Formats work. This collection has been given the working title “New Media Writing Prize Collection”.
The New Media Writing Prize (NMWP) was established in the UK in 2010 by Bournemouth University, with the purpose of showcasing and rewarding innovative examples of interactive storytelling, presented on a variety of platforms and comprising different formats. The long-running status of the competition, the variety of formats showcased, as well as the diverse background of shortlisted authors and winners, will provide us with a selection of significant examples of digital storytelling and emerging media.
