This talk outlines the experience of Royal Botanic Gardens Kew with the British Library's shared repository service. The range of research undertaken at Kew is outlined. The reasons Kew was interested in establishing a repository included needing a mechanism to publicly share all its research outputs, to be able to meet their future obligations from Plan S funders such as UKRI and Wellcome and the more recent UKRI grant rules on Open Access publishing requiring a green Open Access publishing venue that meets a UKRI Open Access technical requirements for research articles. The Kew repository now holds 5,106 publicly visible records plus a few records that are only visible at Kew. There are records of 4,163 articles; 226 books; 201 reports; 6 collections; 48 conference items; eight data sets and 105 theses and dissertations. They cover 18 languages; 1400 plus publicly available PDFs; 1700 plus restricted links to paid for journals and 1827 metadata only items.
