These images have been available on the EAP website since 2020: https://eap.bl.uk/collection/EAP1251-1 In 2021 these images went through OCR processing by FindMyPast. As part of the OCR process, the borders of the original digitised images were cropped. This dataset contains these cropped copies of the digitised newspapers. These images correspond with the OCR dataset, which will also be made available here. It continued as the Barbados Mercury and Bridgetown Gazette from c 1805. These newspapers were digitised by the Barbados Department of Archives as part of a project funded by the British Library's Endangered Archives Programme.
